Detention centre Dresden

In deportation detention in Dresden, 34 people could be incarcerated for custody purposes, 24 people could be detained. People from all over Saxony, who are obligated to leave, could be detained or taken into custody here.

 

The facility is placed in Dresden Friedrichstadt, right next to the local first reception center, or "Anchor Centre" on Hamburger Strasse.

Monday to Sunday from 9 am to noon and 1 pm to 5 pm

 

A visit lasts for one to two hours. In case of need, ask for a longer visit time ('cause you live far away for example)!

Requests in Prison
If a prisoner wants something, he needs to file a request for it. For example: he wants a copy of his file. Or: he wants to speak a doctor.

Requests for Receiving and Sending Packages
You might want to receive or send packages. You've got to file a request as well. Packages can be handed over personally as well (Monday to Friday from 9am to 12am and 1pm to 5pm). On deportations, 20 kilogram are allowed.
